What I'm Loving Wedesday

Hi everyone! Its been too long and its time for a update. I'm loving these Selena Gomez Collect nail polishes from Nicole. I attempted a gradient with these two colors and a Essie polish. The best part about these polishes are that I got them on clearance for $1.74 at my local Kmart.

Mani Monday

Hey guys! Its mani monday!! Today I made an attempted to do those cute little roses. It looked easy enough you just need a dotting tool, or a small brush and nail polish. So I tried my hand at it. Using my small brush I made a couple small and somewhat circular blobs on my ring fingers let those two dry I cleaned off my brush got another color and started making those little tiny half circles...it was not what I was expecting haha so in attempt to save it I swirled the colors together and it lifted my base color. I wasn't able to save it so I tried something else a fishtail :) and I'm so much more happier with out my fishtail came out. It still needs work but I'm satisfied with my free hand. I'll be working on my roses and fishtails now.

Hi everyone its mani monday :) I rushed to try and finish this before Monday ended over on my end of the spectrum. So for this look I used NYC "Boat Basin" Sally Hansen extreme wear in "Celeb City" and Nicole by OPI in"Razzle Dazzler". This was a tape mani, one of my favorite things to use for nail art is tape. It's versatile and it gives me that nice clean edge. Just remember to let your nails dry completely or use a fast drying top coat like Flash Forward by China Glaze or Seche Viete. I recently purchased Boat Basin along with eight other polishes. I'll have to make some time and swatch all nine and post them up for you guys to see. I wore Boat Basin alone for a day and it held with nicely since I do a lot of typing and hand washing.

My cuticles have been very dry lately, mostly because I wash my hands constantly and never have any lotion around. I need to go out and buy some travel size lotions and have them everywhere. It was somewhat tricky shooting outside, because Celeb City would reflect from the sun and cause my camera to blur. This was the best picture out of all that I took.

Drugstore Haul

Hey everyone. I have a haul for you today. I bought all nine of these polishes for $5!!! I got this deal at Rite Aid with the help of coupons and sales. All of these polishes should be less than two dollars, if its any higher go somewhere else. I've been a sucker for darker shades lately even though we are approaching summer fast. I love pastels as much as the next girl, but I still haven't fallen into pastels yet I think its because I was wearing lighter shades all winter haha. Maybe I should be on a different continent when Summer and Winter and Fall is Spring.

Flashback Friday

This picture was taken back in April on a very early and exciting Saturday morning. Drove out to LA at five in the morning running on no amount of sleep and no coffee. And it was worth every second of it. I have on Essie Blanc its a nice stark white creme that applies smooth and opaque in two thick coats or three thin coats and used Seche Vite top coat for a fast dry since I did my nails an hour before going to bed. And a simple black triangle I used OPI Black Onyx and used NYC Matte Me Crazy over Black Onyx. The only thing about a fast drying top coat is that everything else is too slow...like a matte top coat, I loved my nails that day though.

After a fun filled morning I had to stop by two places Georgetown Cupcakes and Bottega Louie. It was well worth the early morning for cupcakes and macrons in the afternoon :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving these MAC Cosmetics glitter lacquers!! Two of them are apart of their new Temperature Rising collection they are $18. There are only two nail lacquers in their new collection so grab them while supplies last!! I can't wait to go grab myself a bottle of Scorching Haute. Formidable is apart of their permanent line and its $16. All of these can be purchased at a MAC store and online.

Slapper my Henley Ragatta

Hi everyone! So today I have two Butter London nail lacquers to share with you today. The first one is Henley Ragatta its a teal glitter with a clear base. It’s much prettier in person the picture gives off a more blue than it actually is, I would say it looks more on the greener side of teal than blue. I used 2 coats on top of Slapper. Slapper is a creme and is also a greeeny-teal shade. I used two coats and it was fully opaque again my camera was unable to pick up Slapper’s true colors.
